Welcome to Tirril and Sockbridge Village Hall Web site, providing information about events, activities and facilities.
The Village Hall has been used by residents since it was opened and is an integral part of life in the village. It is used regularly by Art Groups, Dance Groups, Pilates, Indoor Bowls, Craft Group, Wine Club and Parish Council Meetings. Coffee mornings, book and jigsaw exchanges and other activities are organised by an Events Team for the benefit of residents and visitors.
Tirril and Sockbridge Reading Room and Library was opened on October 22nd 1914. It was described as a reading, recreation and meeting room in the local newspaper and was paid for by 'public-spirited residents'. The total cost for the building and furnishing was £650.
